What a beautiful day!

I don't have much to blog about today, although it's been a week since my last post. *sigh* How did that happen? How to the weeks pass as hours? It's crazy.

Well I thoroughly enjoyed a fabulous weekend with my lovely friend Amander. (It's actually Amanda, I just call her Amander. It's a bit of an "in joke". LOL) Anyway, she brought her cuter-than-cute daughter and her funnier-than-hilarious brother. It was a blast. I don't even remember most things that we did. It was busier than most weekends she's been here, so it's kind of a blur. Well.... there are other reasons it could seem like a blur..... but I won't mention those. :)

The weather has been BEAUTIFUL this week. Sunday night Andrew and I went and played tennis (if you can call it that) at a local middle school. We had so much fun, and we're hoping to make that into a weekly thing. Last night we went for a 2 mile walk. So we're slowly but surely getting more active! Oh and I'm also starting to walk the track at the same middle school a couple of times a week with a friend from church. So that's going to help my booty, I hope! It feels great, not sitting around on your ass all day and night. Plus the sun gives me so much energy.

Today Drew picked up our new lawnmower. *sigh* I shouldn't be *sigh*ing, because he's so excited about it. And it is something we need. But how can men be so excited about things like lawnmowers? And pruning tools? It's a mystery to me. I just hope I can use this as leverage when I want some new clothes in a couple of months.... I hope to God that I'll NEED new clothes, because I'll have lost like a thousand pounds. We shall see.

So he went to work, and I went to run errands. I had to take "softy" to the UPS store to be shipped back to Aiden. (For anyone who isn't Amanda and is reading this [which is doubtful], "softy" is Aiden's security blanky, and Aiden is Amanda's lil' girl, lil' giiiirrrl.) Wow. That was a lot of parentheses and such. Anyway, the UPS store claimed they couldn't get the package to it's final destination until Friday mid-morning to early afternoon. Don't ask me why, they didn't have a legitimate reason. For the sake of Amanda, I wanted it overnighted, but they apparently couldn't do that. The good news, I guess, is that it'll only be two days until it gets there. Geez Louise. (What a weird expression.)

After the UPS store, I headed out to la casa de mi madre y padre. I'm their cleaning lady these days. (I know, right? LOL) But apparently I do a pretty good job. Or at least better than they can right now, since they're busier than ever. I assume I'll be without this second "job" when school lets out, and my mom is home more. So anyway, now I'm taking a break from cleaning and updating my blog. :) Well, actually, I took a break to eat a snack. (A healthy snack! Rice cake and pb!) Then I started facebook-ing, then I started stalking New Moon details, then I ended up here. I don't really know how.

I suppose I should get back to cleaning. I just have to vacuum the kitch (short for kitchen) and clean two bathrooms, then I'm home-free! Here's to a fantastic, sunny day! CHEERS!
